1. Purchase Terms

All purchases of max1mus audio plugins grant a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software. License details, including the number of permitted machine activations, are specified at the time of purchase.

2. Digital Delivery

All products are delivered digitally. Your license key and download access are provided immediately after payment via your account dashboard. max1mus audio is not responsible for download issues caused by your internet connection or local system configuration.

3. Right of Withdrawal

By completing your purchase, you consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that this waives your 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

We strongly encourage you to use our free, fully functional 14-day trial to verify compatibility and suitability before purchasing.

4. Refund Policy

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of max1mus audio.

4.1 Trial before purchase. A fully functional trial version of each plugin is available free of charge. Customers are expected to use the trial to confirm compatibility with their system, DAW and workflow, and to satisfy themselves that the product meets their needs, before purchasing.

4.2 Grounds for a refund. Refunds are considered only where a customer reports a specific, verifiable defect in the software that:

• prevents normal use of the product;
• is reproducible by max1mus audio on a supported system configuration as published on max1musaudio.com; and
• is not caused by third-party software, unsupported host applications, unsupported operating system versions, hardware limitations, user configuration, or user error.

Requests that do not identify a specific issue, including general statements that the product "isn't working" or does not sound or behave as expected, are not sufficient to establish eligibility.

4.3 Customer cooperation. To have a request considered, the customer must provide, on request, such diagnostic information as max1mus audio may reasonably require, including clear steps to reproduce the issue and a screen recording or audio example where relevant. max1mus audio is unable to consider requests where the customer does not respond to reasonable diagnostic requests within 14 days.

4.4 Support and remedy first. Where a reproducible defect is confirmed, max1mus audio will first seek to resolve it by support guidance, configuration change, or a software update. max1mus audio is under no obligation to provide an immediate fix, and shall be allowed a reasonable period in which to investigate and resolve the issue. A reasonable period will normally be up to 60 days from the date the defect is confirmed, having regard to the complexity of the issue and the release schedule. Where a confirmed defect that prevents normal use of the product remains unresolved after that period, a refund will be offered.

4.5 Not grounds for a refund. Change of mind; accidental or duplicate purchase where the license has been activated; purchase of the wrong product; unfamiliarity with the software or with immersive/spatial workflows; incompatibility with a system that does not meet the published requirements; discontinued or unsupported host software.

4.6 Deactivation. All machine activations associated with the license must be deactivated via your account dashboard before a refund can be processed. Refunds will not be issued while active authorizations remain on any machine.

4.7 Time limit. Requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.

4.8 Statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

5. Licensing

Each license is tied to your max1mus audio account. You may activate the software on the number of machines specified by your license tier. Licenses may not be shared, resold, or transferred to another user without written permission.

6. Free Trial

Free trials are provided for evaluation purposes only. Trial versions are fully functional for the duration of the trial period. At the end of the trial, a purchase is required to continue using the software.

7. End User License Agreement

All purchases are subject to the End User License Agreement (EULA). By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms of the EULA.

8. Limitation of Liability

max1mus audio software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. max1mus audio shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.

9. Changes to These Terms

max1mus audio reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
